Beth Powell
Speaker, Trainer, Math Consultant
Beth has worked in the field of education for 15 years. After completing her Baccalaureate degree in Math and her Master of Arts in Transformative Leadership with a focus on math education, she developed the Math with Ease® Program. Beth is also a musician and is part of the theatrical community. She was a consultant for the theatrical production of “Proof”.

Lars Guthrie
Speaker, Trainer, Learning Consultant
Lars has been consulting, managing, and developing programs for The Reading Clinic since its inception in 1997. As creator of The Morphology Program®, Lars makes presentations on how discovering word origins can inspire reluctant readers and help them improve spelling and vocabulary. He has been instrumental in integrating curriculum, particularly social studies, into The Reading Clinic’s programs. He has also focused on integrating executive functioning and meta-cognition in all our students. An avid reader and collector of children's literature, Lars reviews books in that genre in Lars's Library. He received his Baccalaureate degree in History and teaching credentials at San Francisco State University.
